Boost Your Ballerina's Confidence
"Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit" - E.E. Cummings
“Nothing builds self-esteem and self-confidence like accomplishment” - Thomas Carlyle
Self-confidence can be learned, practiced, and mastered — just like any other skill. Once you master it, everything in your life will change for the better.” - Barrie Davenport
It’s never too early to build your child’s self-confidence. Self-confidence is a skill that will last a lifetime, and an important foundation to happiness and success.
At Princess Ballerinas there is nothing we love more than watching children’s self-confidence blossom. Over the course of a few months, we see children transform into self-assured little dancers. We promote a positive, supportive environment so that your child can learn and master skills, which create positive experiences and memories.
Here are some other tips of how you can boost your little ballerina's confidence at home:
- Focus on your child’s strengths and remind them daily how much you love them and how special they are to you
- Be sure to spend some uninterrupted, one-on-one time with your child. By turning off your phone, putting down your work, and focusing solely on your child for a period of time every day, you will remind them that they are special to you.
- Provide your child with choices so that they can practice making decisions. When getting your child dressed in the morning, offer up two outfit choices.
- Make an “I Like Me!” book or box with your child, where you can store drawings, stories, or crafts that your child has made.
